From father to son,
in the heart of the forest

The Scierie du Pays d’Othe is, above all, a family story. A story passed down from generation to generation, in which expertise is shared just as much as our values.

For five generations, we have grown in step with the forest. There, we have learnt to respect trees, to be patient in doing a job well, and to recognise the importance of preserving what nature provides us with.

Every piece of wood that passes through our hands embodies not only this high standard, but also the passion that unites us.

Today, this family-run business continues under the leadership of its chairman, Mr Cedric Renaut, building on this legacy and with a vision focused on the future.

Having grown up surrounded by the forest, Mr Renaut now shares with his children the things that have shaped him: a love of wood, a respect for nature and a passion for a craft passed down from generation to generation.
